Notes: Oh man, I don’t think I got Brian’s last name! So for this show, the first 30 minutes or so is an interview with Jeff Shaw from the Maine Academy of Modern Music about Playing for Change Day. We started the segment with a track from Anna Lombard‘s CD (she was due to appear on this show too, but was sick) and closed it with last year’s Playing for Change songwriting competition winner, “Be In Love” by Dominic LaVoie (video below). After that, Euphemia played a set and sounded awesome. Like I said a couple times during the show, I can’t wait to hear the full band. After the Euphemia set was a song from Peter Squires (our guest the following week), then Kurt Baker closed the show with a couple solo tunes.
